Awesomely Ugly

So a few weeks ago I bought OPI Who the Shrek Are You? I'd been wanting it for awhile and I can tell it is a polish I will wear a lot. I absolutely love it!!! My mom loves it too. My stepdad, on the other hand, said "That looks like baby vomit, you should've left that orange polish on."

On to the picture! I didn't clean up much and I had some bubbling issues :/ but oh well! I still love it.



I meant to post this earlier today, but I've spent the last 6 hours helping my mom and stepdad clean and organize their office. It was a disaster and they are paying me to help. I've also been helping with some accounting. It is very boring. Now I get a break though because Ray was having issues was something and was swearing it his computer. He said I could leave until he got that figured out.

I've kind of been stressing out because my sister bailed on the Tom Petty concert. It's in 6 days and I have no clue who else to ask to come. I just feel bad because my daddy bought the tickets for me and two friends and people keep bailing on me. He told me to chill out though. I tend to worry about pretty much everything, I always have. Anybody wanna come? Hah. I know lots of people who would come with me if they lived here but no. I've hardly got any friends here in Washington.

Jack is a jack russell/chihuahua mix and he is a little brat. Then there is my sweet Marleymar, with her paws crossed all ladylike.

OPI DS Diamond

Good morning everyone. Did you all have a good weekend? Saturday I hung out with my friend Jordan who I have known since 2nd grade. We've just gotten back in touch recently. Yesterday was good except for the usual family drama. I went with Kathy and my sister Abby to the lake with our 3 dogs. There is a 2.6 mile trail that goes around the lake that we went on and there was also an off leash trail we went on. We kind of went a lot farther than we meant to, we took a wrong turn somewhere. The dogs were exhausted when we finally got back to the car. There is also a dog park at the lake, and we took them in there for a few minutes. They had never been to a dog park before and they had a lot of fun. I wish I had thought to bring my camera with me.

Anyways, today I have OPI DS Diamond to show you guys. My mom bought me this for Christmas and I finally got around to trying it. I couldn't decide if I really liked it or not. Inside it looks kind of blah to me, but outside it is very pretty.

OPI Chick Flick Cherry & China Glaze Liquid Leather

Nothing really exciting today. I did these around 10 last night and then went to bed. I've got a horrible headache today like usual, so this might be a short post. Anyways, I wanted more than just one color so I added black polka dots to Chick Flick Cherry. I love this red, my auntie Michele gave it to me. I've been lazy and still haven't done any clean up though.



So my best friend Kathy is now on a plane headed to France. I miss her already!! I just do not know what I will do with her gone for 10 days. I kind of vent to her about everything. And we are always texting Friends quotes to each other, it's a fun game. At the ice rink this morning my auntie told me I could text her while Kathy is gone. She's so sweet. She also said I should stop by the yacht club on Friday night because she is going to be there with my favorite uncle. YAY! I haven't seen him since New Years, and I've really missed him and wanted an uncda hug. I think it was Kathy who made up uncda... uncle/dad. Haha. Anyways. I'm excited.

Minnie Mouse Nails!

So, I absolutely love Disney. Well, old Disney. My favorite Disney movie is The Little Mermaid. I also really love Peter Pan, but I've actually never seen the Disney one. I just love the story.. I've been trying to think of a Peter Pan design for my nails, but so far I haven't come up with anything. Last night I got the idea to try Minnie Mouse nails though! I got very excited, haha.

For this I used OPI Chick Flick Cherry, OPI Alpine Snow, and China Glaze Liquid Leather. As usual, I took pictures before I cleaned up. I'm a very impatient person. The Minnie Mouse heads kind of suck, but oh well! I still like them, and I love the polka dots! Polka dots are awesome.






I'm also very impatient because it is my birthday in THREE days and everybody is torturing me, going on and on about how much I'm going to love what they're getting me! UGH! Kathy has been going on about her supposedly genius present for me since NEW YEARS EVE! It's mean, haha. I'm just so excited, because most of my adopted family from the yacht club is coming over, and my Uncle Neil is making me my special hot dog he made when I went cruising with him and my aunties. Its a hot dog with cheese and grilled onions wrapped in a tortilla. It sounded really weird, but it was delicious. He made that for me when the rest of them ate seafood- ew! Anyway.. three days!! I can't contain my excitement, as you can tell.

EDIT: I just remembered I wanted to ask you guys something! I've been trying to think of what to do for my birthday nails but so far I've got nothing. Any ideas??

Sort of V-day Mani

So.. I wasn't planning on doing this really. I'm really not sure if I like it or not. I'm usually not a fan of pink, so I don't know where this came from. I used OPI Alpine Snow as a base, and I had thought about doing some blue flowers or something. But then I remembered my mom got me tons of rhinestones for Christmas, and I wanted to use some of those. So I on my ring fingers I added some rhinestones diagonally across my nails. I think I should've left it that way. Instead I added light pink and hot pink polka dots diagonally across the rest of my nails. I used Sephora by OPI Dear Diary for my pinky and index fingers and Zoya Yvette for my middle fingers and thumbs.

I apologize, I haven't cleaned them up yet. I don't want to accidentally smudge one of them. I need to hurry up and clean them up though, I'm going out to dinner for my best friend's 18th birthday tonight!

First Attempt At Pictures

I've wanted Mad As A Hatter since I first saw a picture on All Lacquered Up, and while I also liked Absolutely Alice, I was unsure. My old school, the one I transferred out of last year, it's colors are blue and gold. So this polish reminded me of my old school, which I hated. But I decided that I shouldn't let that get in the way of my love of nail polish, and I'm glad I did! I love how sparkly it is, and blue is one of my favorite colors. I took pictures, I doubt they are very good, but I don't care! I was sitting in my room watching Bonanza, and I just kept staring at my nails. They seemed extra sparkly in this light! So here are my pictures.





I'm holding the arm of the teddy bear I've had seen I was born.

Non-nail related news: In about 20 days I will be done with high school! I finished the second half of my Senior English class today! I only have 20 days left of my Computer Literacy class, and then I can graduate. Yay!! I have absolutely no idea what I want to do after I'm done though.
