Hello! My name is Tierney but most people call me Tier.

I'm 20 and live in Washington. I love the town I live in but I hate Washington weather. It's almost always cold and gray and depressing.

I got really into polish about 2 1/2 years ago, however, I've enjoyed painting my nails for a lot longer then that. When I was a little girl, my dad lived with my aunt and uncle for awhile. Every other weekend when I would go visit my dad, my aunt would paint my nails. My aunt and uncle got divorced a long time ago and I don't see her much, but every time I do my nails I think of her and it makes me happy.

I have taken a nail technician course but I do not have my license yet. I've been thinking about getting it and starting a small business. If I do, I know it will be natural nails only. I don't like wearing artificial nails or applying them. I know how, but I hate it.

A few more random things about me.. I am a Disnerd. I absolutely love all things Disney and I really do believe that Disneyland is the happiest place on Earth. It's something I get made fun of for quite often, but I don't mind. It makes me smile and that's all that matters!

I also love boating. The yacht club is a big part of my life. I grew up there, I've been volunteering every April through September since I was 12 years old. I officially became a yacht club member in September 2011. I do tend to post about yacht club events on this blog a lot, I just love sharing pictures I take when I'm on the water.
