Ridiculous New Years Mani

Hello and Happy New Year everybody!!
I have a crappy iphone picture of my New Years mani for you guys today. I couldn't decide between neon polish, which is my favorite, or something sparkly. So I ended up doing both!! Hah. I think it looks kind of silly but I love it anyways. I got lots of comments about them at work yesterday. And everybody at the party I was at loved them too. I had a pretty quiet new years, I went to my auntie and uncle's house for their party. I had a bad headache though and pretty much slept on their couch most of the night. Woohoo. I got to see a lot of my favorite people which was great.

I used some Sally Hansen white polish as a base, I can't remember the name. Next I used Misa A Sunny Smile Makes Me Go Wild and China Glaze Kiwi Cool-ada. I used China Glaze Pool Party for the tips and added some silver glitter AND rhinestones. Oh yeah. I haven't been able to paint my nails in a couple months so I was really excited and as you can see, I went a little crazy.

My 3 great aunts and my grandma got to my house while I was in the middle of doing these and they were kind of shocked. Well, my grandma wasn't, she knows I love bright polish. She said my nails looked awesome. Of course, this is my grandma who has a couple pairs of Ed Hardy shoes. One pair has skulls. Yeah, she's pretty much the coolest grandma ever.

Anyways. I have today off and I've been laying in bed all morning watching my new Criminal Minds dvds. I am enjoying a lazy day, I have to work at 6:30 tomorrow morning. I had gotten used to not working until 11 and so leaving my house at 6 is going to suck. At least I'm still getting hours though! I'm starting the second half of my nail course tomorrow night after work. So who knows when I will be able to paint my nails again. OH, by the way, I have gel nails in this picture. A girl in my class did them for our final exam a couple weeks ago.
