Diamond Cosmetics Seafoam Spray

Today I've got another one of the Diamond Cosmetics polishes Tiffani sent me, Seafoam Spray. At first I wasn't sure if I liked it on me but now I'm really loving it. And I love the name because I love anything that reminds me of the ocean.

It's just so pretty. Thank you Tiffani!!

So, Caitlin, I saw your comment about how I should get my headaches checked out. I'm sure everybody is tired of reading about them.. I know my family is sick of hearing about them. I've been getting them for 11 years now. When I was a little kid doctors wouldn't do anything about it. They just told my mom to give me tylenol or whatever. I saw another doctor over the summer and she had no idea what was going on and sent me to the neurologist. The neurologist just asked me some questions and put me on amitriptyline, which I'm no longer taking because it wasn't working and I ran out of it anyways. I didn't like the neurologist I saw though. She was questioning me about what I was going to do after I graduated high school and I told her I had no idea and she gave me this big lecture. She said I was depressed because I didn't know what I wanted to do with my life and I needed to be looking forward to every single day and that I should really go get some help. It just made me mad, because I had just started senior year of high school and just because I wasn't sure what I wanted to do she was saying I needed help! I've had headaches almost daily since I was 7 years old, and not knowing what to do after high school isn't causing them. She didn't help me at all. And I haven't seen anybody else since her.. I really should because they've been getting worse again. I was actually just talking to my stepdad about it earlier, I'm tired of nobody really trying to figure them out. And I'm tired of my family bugging me about them. They ask me what's wrong, I tell them my head hurts, and they always say "But that's what you always say!" Well, that's because I ALWAYS have them! And if they had these headaches, I bet they'd be tired too. I just don't think they get how exhausting these headaches are for me.

Ugh, sorry for that rant. I use this blog to vent way too often, I apologize. It's just that I really don't have anywhere else I feel like it's safe to say what I really think. I have something else I wanted to talk about tonight but I don't think I will.

I hope everybody had a good weekend! Thanks for reading.

That is a lovely color!
Sometimes you have to be blunt and straight forward with doctors. Go see a different one and tell them that you are tired of doctors doing nothing to find out why and how to manage them. And tell them If you aren't that doctor then refer me to one who will do it!

I'm liking that Seafoam business. Nice.

Tierney my love, do not apologize for using YOUR OWN blog to vent. I love reading your vents ;) I'd have to agree with Evil and say that you need to be blunt and straightforward. It makes me sad that no one can figure out why you're hurting :(

Very pretty. I for one am not sick of hearing you say you have headaches- I am more worried about it! Definitely keep going to doctors until they get it figured out. It took many different doctors 12 years to figure out what was wrong with my back, and now they are trying to figure out what to do about them!! Have you tried keeping a journal about them? Sometimes there are triggers that you may be able to avoid if you start writing down what you were doing, eating, smelling, etc, before the headache came on. That way your doctor can maybe pin down the problem more easily.

Steph and Evil are right as well- be pushy!! Once I started getting more assertive with the dr, that was when someone figured it out....

And vent all you want- it's your blog, sweetie!! Sorry for the long comment- I have been remiss commenting on everyone's blog, trying to make up for it!

<3 ya, sweetie!

Thanks Steff [:
I know I really shouldn't feel bad, it is MY blog and I'm not forcing anybody to read it. I've just always kept everything to myself, I feel like if I say anything I'm complaining too much.

Thanks Amberski [:
Oh yeah, my grandma is always telling me I need to start keeping a headache journal. I really need to remember that.

I love this color!

I get migraines a lot, usually around once a week but I used to have a headache everyday when I was little. And all of my doctors were pretty much assholes, and said it was normal for me to get them since my mum gets them a lot too. So I've pretty much just dealt with them, aside from taking a ridiculous ammount of excedrine everyday. So I know what you're going through and I know that it really sucks :/

Someone recently recommended me a migraine specialist who is supposedly one of the top specialists in the country, i'm hoping I can see him this summer. But it takes like half a year to see him *sigh*. But maybe you should just trying going to a headache specialist if you can find one?

Don't feel bad about talking about that!

I kind of have the same problem but it's with sleeping. I have been an "insomniac" since I was about 11 or 12, I just can't fall asleep before 2 or 3 in the morning. Lately it's been getting worse like laying awake until 5. It feels like I'm always complaining about it and people just don't understand to them its like well go to bed early... Like we choose to have this kind of thing. I wish I could help you out but I guess all you can do is hang in there and know you're not alone :D
