Anchor Nails

I am very excited for race committee tomorrow. I'm not sure why, because it has been COLD this week and I will probably freeze out on the boat tomorrow. But I love being out there and for me race committee starting means that summer is coming! And everybody on committee is so nice and I haven't seen most of them since September. So it will be good to see them again.

Today I kind of combined 2 different anchor nail designs I found. One is from I Love Nail Polish and the other I found on google image search. Look here.

I used Sally Hansen Sheer Romance Natural White, Art Deco Dark Blue, Art Deco Silver Glitter, Art Deco Red Glitter, and the light blue polish I won in Nihrida's giveaway.

So I didn't do the best, they look kind of messy.. and a couple of them smeared a bit. But I like them anyways!!

Well. That's all folks!

Have a good day, thanks for reading!

China Glaze Beauty & The Beach

So today I have China Glaze Beauty & The Beach. I love the name of this polish! It's part of why I picked it. It is also one of my favorite colors. So pretty much, I think it is perfect! I did my nails last night while I was watching The Holiday. It's one of my favorite movies. After that I ended up watching The Blues Brothers, which is my ALL TIME favorite movie. Except I fell asleep in the middle of it. Haha. Oh well. Tonight I will probably end up watching Young Guns again. I still don't know why I love that movie, because it makes me sad and mad.

I should stop rambling about movies and get on to the pictures :P

This morning I was a little bored and decided to try something I saw on another blog a month or so ago. I'm really sorry, I can't remember whose blog it was I saw it on!! I had forgotten about it until today, it just popped back into my head! Anyway, I added Art Deco Silver Glitter. I've almost used all of my silver glitter, I'm going to have to go buy more.

I've got a headache again today. I have had one every day this week. Its been awful, but I'm used to them.

OH OH OH! I just remembered that I now have 30 followers! That is so exciting for me, thank you all so much :D

Have a good day everybody!

Maybelline Timely Turquoise & Art Deco Glitter

So today I wanted to try out a few new polishes I got for my birthday and I chose Maybelline Express Finish Timely Turquoise and Art Deco Purple/Blue Glitter. Timely Turquoise was kind of a pain to apply, but I love the color. Of course, turquoise is one of my favorite colors, so that isn't really a surprise. I felt like doing stripes again today, which I did with the Art Deco glitter.

I cleaned them up a bit again before taking pictures. 2 days in a row, go me. Haha.

I didn't feel like walking outside to take pictures even though it is nice out. I'm being lazy today. I did get up and take pictures by the window though! Then when I went to sit back down I missed the chair and fell. Oops.

Here is a picture of the really cool candle I got from my mom's friend Kelly. The picture isn't that great, but look at the seahorse!

It's sitting in front of my Monty Python and the Holy Grail daily calendar. I love that calendar, it is quite entertaining.

Have a good day guys!

LA Girls Groovy & Art Deco Baby Pink

So, this mani is a failure in my opinion, but I am posting it anyways. I was trying to do Cheshire Cat colored stripes but I didn't do very well.

I used LA Girls Disco Brites Groovy and Art Deco Baby Pink. They were birthday presents! [:

I didn't get very good pictures, the lighting in my room sucks so I went out into the main upstairs area by my stepdads fish tanks. I did clean them up before I took pictures for once though! Go me.

That color isn't accurate at all.. It looks way more purple than it really is, so I moved away from the fish tanks a bit.

This one is a little closer..

My birthday was pretty great, thank you to everyone for the birthday wishes! I was really bummed because my favorite uncle wasn't able to be there, but that's okay. I'll just have to figure out a time to see him and my auntie soon so he can write in my birthday book! I decided I wanted to get a little book to have people write in so whenever I'm really sad, I can read it and cheer up a bit. I seriously have the best friends and adopted family, they are all so sweet. When I was reading what some of them wrote I started crying, but it was happy crying.

For my birthday my favorite auntie said she is going to pay for 5 half hour ice skating lessons! I'm very excited. My grandma first put me in ice skating lessons when I was 2 years old, and I took lessons on and off until 6 years ago. I ended up quitting because my coach really wasn't very nice and I wasn't having fun anymore. Also, she was trying to force me to compete, and I just wanted to learn. The one competition I was in I got 3rd place though, back in 4th grade. Anyways, another skater I've known for a long time was at the rink a couple weeks ago and she is an incredible skater. My auntie and I were watching her doing a bunch of different jumps and spins and I've been thinking about maybe starting again. Now I can take 5 lessons and hopefully decide whether or not I really want to start again! I've been going for fun and I can skate really fast but I've forgotten a lot of what I used to know.

In the next day or two I am going to try and do a better looking mani. I was thinking of trying to do Genie from Aladdin! Hahaha. I'm all about Disney nails right now as you can probably tell. What do you guys think? I know Kathy loves Aladdin.

Hope you all had a good day!

Blingy V-day Mani

Heyy! So I really didn't want to take off my supergirl nails ]: but tomorrow morning I am going ice skating, and they decided we all have to dress up for a little V- Day celebration. They = a few regular morning skaters that my grandma is friends with. I go ice skating with my grandma every Wednesday morning, and so I know all her skating buddies now. My Auntie Michele has also been coming lately, and she asked me to go with her skating tomorrow morning. After skating they are all going to go to breakfast, but I probably won't have time to go to that because I will have to get the car back to my sister. Anyway, I figured supergirl nails wouldn't really go well, I decided to try a V-day mani.

I don't really care for Valentines Day. I don't know why, I just never have. I don't really like most pinks either, which doesn't help. But I do love the pink I used in this mani. I used Sinful Colors Tokyo Pearl, Art Deco Silver Glitter, and China Glaze Caribbean Temptation. I had a really hard time getting pictures, almost all of them were blurry. It's dark in my house, and it is cloudy and rainy outside. Sad. I don't like darkness. Anyways, here are the pictures!

Really blurry! But ooh, a sand dollar! I miss summer, haha.

Other news: I only have 2 assignments and a final and then I am done with my last high school class!!
YAYYY

EDIT:

I got a little bored, so here is a picture of my sweet doggie and I!

I look a bit weird, but awhh, look at Marley! She always wants to have one of her toys in her mouth.
