Great Big Sea & Elephants!! (Pictures)

Good morning!! I was not planning on being awake this early. I got up at 6:30 because Marley really needed to go out. After I wake up I can't get back to sleep. It's sad. Anyways, I figured now was a good time to get some pictures from yesterday posted before I have to go to an appointment in a little bit.

So yesterday Kathy and I went to the Woodland Park Zoo in Seattle. While we were there we were able to get a tour of the elephant area because my auntie Michele and mom for a day Michele are friends with a zookeeper there. It was so cool, the elephants were REALLY close to us. Check it out..

Ahh. It was so cool being back there. We got to watch them for about an hour I think. Steve, the zookeeper, is very nice. He told us a lot about the elephants and it was really fun to see him talking to them. In one of the pictures above there you can see his hand. He was playing with one of them with a long piece of grass.

The concert was amazing too. I knew it would be, Great Big Sea always puts on an awesome show. We were really close to the stage, in the dance area. There was one woman who kept shoving people out of her way, which was stupid because she was already in front. But there were some nice people next to us who let us go in front of them. After the concert was over we got autographs from Murray, who plays bass, and Kris, the drummer. They also took pictures with us. It was so exciting and I felt like I was going to cry. Yesterday was one of the best days ever.

This is us with Kris.

And this is us with Murray.

Ahh. It was such a good day. They said they might be back in Seattle in March. Can't wait!!!

I might be busy today, and I'm going to Michele and Neil's wedding reception tomorrow, but I will try to get up a nail post soon.

Yay! It sounds like youve had some great days. Its always such a wonderful high to go to live music and then to meet the members of the band :)
