I got an idea for pirate nails all of a sudden when I was taking a shower. I have no idea where it came from, it was just BAM, in my head. My grandma gave me China Glaze Medallion for my birthday, and it reminds me of a treasure chest. I've seen pictures of China Glaze Treasure Chest, but I like Medallion better. Anyways, I thought it would be cool to have most of my nails done with Medallion, then have a couple accent nails that had skulls on them!! I'm not sure if I could do a skull freehand, but I know one of the konad plates has a skull on it. I need to get that at some point.
What do you guys think of this idea? It makes me think of the Pirates of the Caribbean ride at Disneyland :P

When I was 10 I went to Disney World and went on the POTC ride, of course this was back in 2001 so the movie wasn't out yet and the hype didn't really pick up. Anyway love the idea, I've always loved Pirates especially the female pirates Anne Bonney and Mary Reed who rode on Calico Jack's ship!! Calico Jack's flag is the famous Jolly Roger that everyone thinks every pirate flown, anyway enough of the pirate history knowledge. I can't wait to see the pics when you got them done xD.
I've loved pirates since I first started sailing about 6 years ago.. haha. And I loveee the POTC ride.. But they added this stupid Davey Jones thing from the movie that I don't like. So I pretend it isn't there.
I remember one time my fake big brother made me look up a bunch of different pirate flags and sort of quizzed me on them.
Oh sweet. I tried to get as much knowledge of Priates as possible so I could make my sister's boyfriend at the time look like the dumb douchebag he is ^.^ I like being knowledgeable ^.^
